RichardKurland
Richard continually pushes the boundaries of industry standards. Customer service and leading edge technology are his two main areas of focus. The attention continues to pay off year after year. EBI has been named as a top-provider of employment screening services in Workforce Management’s ‘Hot List’ for twelve years running. In 2018, EBI was ranked the top overall enterprise background screening provider on HRO Today’s Baker’s Dozen list. Richard’s focus on employee empowerment and strategic technology implementation are to thank for these accolades.
Richard’s dedication to cutting edge technology has led to the development of the industry’s top drug testing and occupational healthcare solutions, along with strategic integrations of Applicant Tracking and other essential HR tools. His dream of creating a “one-stop shop” design for HR and Risk Mitigation professionals has become a reality, and continues to grow and adapt as the business world changes.
Richard is proud to be a founding member of the National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS). Community and family are important to him as well. EBI’s “Just One World” philanthropic initiative supports numerous causes every year. In 2011, Richard was selected by Baltimore SmartCEO magazine as a Smart100 CEO.
