Deltek - EBI Integration Workflow Steps
Recruiter Identifies Candidate
Using the one step process, the Deltek Talent user will trigger the background check request to EBI from the candidate’s “Resume Dashboard” by clicking on “Run Background Check” in the “Background Check” section.
Background Check Initiated
Select a package from the Background Check dropdown menu. When the appropriate package has been selected, the requester will click the Submit button.
Data Transferred To EBI
The applicant receives a client defined and branded email invitation or SMS from the EBI system requesting the completion of any missing information required for the background check, and to sign the required authorization forms.
Candidate Authorization
When all information has been filled in, the candidate will be prompted to authorize the background check to be performed. This authorization is performed via electronic signature.
Request Processed
EBI confirms the backgroun check is in progress by returning a “status” to the Deltek Talent dashboard indicating the background check is now in progress.
Status Posted For Review
Throughout processing, EBI will send back status updates to the Deltek Talent dashboard including the current status of the individual components in the background check package being processed.
Completed Background Check Posted
When processing is completed, EBI will update the record in Deltek Talent with the new status of “Complete” and the link to the final report.
Recruiter Reviews Results
After clicking on the View Report link, the full report is presented.
